Press Release: For Immediate Release. 8/25/06 2006 MWC (Masters Walleye Circuit) Eastern Division Team of the Year!
(Jeff Manz) (Greg Yarbrough) We at Starcraft Boat Company would like to congratulate the team of Greg Yarbrough of Port Clinton, OH and Jeff Manz of Vanderbilt, MI on their season this year fishing the Cabelas MWC walleye circuit (Masters Walleye Circuit). We are proud to recognize them on their recent accomplishment of becoming the 2006 MWC Eastern Division Team of the Year. They also have qualified for the 2007 Cabelas National Tournament Championship as well as the 2007 MWC National Championship. They have had a tremendous season fishing against some of the toughest seasoned walleye pro’s in the country. Greg and Jeff have had four top ten finishes this year on the MWC with two of those being in the top five. Jeff Manz stated “This circuit is some of the fiercest competitors you will ever compete against in professional walleye fishing.” Both Greg and Jeff have fished the PWT and RCL (FLW) competitively for years and they both have had success on both tours. Greg Yarbrough states, “The MWC is loaded with some of the top walleye anglers in the country. Many of the anglers fish all three of the aforementioned tournaments circuits. The MWC is one of the elite tournament walleye circuits that continues to gain momentum and grow each year. Jeff and I are looking forward to competing on this circuit once again next year.” The MWC has one event left at Lake City, MN on Lake Pepin on the beautiful Mississippi River September 16th and 17th 2006. The Team of Manz /Yarbrough are currently in the lead for the National Team of the Year in the MWC Challenge. They are also sitting in fourth place in the Central Division with Lake City being the last event on the Central Division side. We wish them luck and hope they can bring home another team of the year title in September.
