"Chris: Here are the only
pictures of my damaged boat that shows your roof rack.
The boat was knocked off the trailer and turned upside
down partially crushing the aluminum boat top but
other than the plastic latch which you sent to me the
roof rack wasn't damaged. I don't have a picture of
the boat upside down on the rack as it was dark when
accident happened. This is what it looked like when
the boat was flipped back over. The boat, trailer and
truck were all totaled. A driver talking on a cell
phone (it landed in the front seat of our truck), with
open alcohol in the van, went through a stop sign at
sixty mile an hour and hit the front of my 3/4 ton
Dodge at 5:30 am. Fortunately no one was seriously
hurt.
We will be remounting the
roof rack on the roof of an identical 24 foot Lund.
I'm missing one of the two rubber or foam black pads
that are placed under the track that hold the roof
rack feet. I was able to salvage one of them but the
other was damaged when we removed the rack track. I
also need some of the plastic washers that fit in the
round holes on black pads. I salvaged 3 or four of
them. I would like a copy of the mounting instructions
if you have it handy or I can get it off a web site if
available. Let me know the charges and I can call with
a credit card number. Thanks so much for your help.
Bob"
